testRancho Margot is fully energy self-sufficient.  Currently we are drawing power from a water-powered micro-turbine that works like a miniature dam and a biodigester that converts organic waste into methane gas and an organic fertilizer.  The methane gas is subsequently used as a substitute for propane gas for heating and could also be used as fuel for a generator.
The visitors and one of our experts will verify that all generators working properly while the processes are explained to them if any maintenance on the generators is needed.
